Volunteer Opportunities

There are dozens of volunteer opportunities for all ages at the AbilityFirst Stroll & Roll. We need individuals to assist with activities like check-in, passing out breakfast, cheering on the participants at the finish line and much more.

Stroll & Roll Volunteer Positions:

7:30 am - 9:30 am

Check-in Volunteers: Help check-in volunteers and hand out t-shirts.

Parking Lot Assistance: Put out signage, meet participants, answer questions regarding parking, direct cars to parking area, direct participants to starting/registration area.

Registration Station: Check lists, pull shirts, and issue bibs.

8:00 am - 11:00 am

Assist Photographers: Help photographers by holding equipment, assisting set up shots, etc.

Pastries and Fruit Team: Set up and hand out pastries and fruit to walkers as long as supplies last.

Table & Chair Set-Up: Set up tables and chairs with linens. When the task is complete, volunteers can assist in handing out medals at finish line.

Water Stations: Set up and staff four water stations, and clean, tear down, and return items to expo area.

8:30 am - 11:00 am

Cheerleaders: Cheer on the participants at the finish line and hand out medals.

Course Monitors: Stationed at various points along the course to assist participants, cheer on walkers, etc.

Jumping Man Photo Shoots: Take photos, hand out social media cards, etc.

Participant Assistants / Wheelchair Pushers: Assist with pushing wheelchairs, assisting anyone with mobility or stamina issues throughout the entire course if needed.

8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Center Activity Stops: Assist at each program display shop, sharing the unique activities of that center.

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Vendor Games & Activities Assistants: Assist with various vendor games and activities.

10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Tear Down & Clean Up: Assist staff to tear down and pack up the trucks.
