Ways to Participate

There are many ways you can participate in the 2018 AbilityFirst Stroll & Roll, from walking/running, to getting your friends or colleagues involved, to volunteering. See below for the various ways you can help children and adults with disabilities achieve their personal best.

Register to walk or run:

Individuals wishing to walk or run in the event can register here. The registration fee is $35 per person and includes an event t-shirt and breakfast. Online registration will close Monday, March 19, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Late registration (after March 19) will be $100 per person and can be done at the registration booth at the event.

We ask that each of our walkers try and raise $250 for AbilityFirst’s programs and services. There are many ways to fundraise. Click here for some fun fundraising ideas and some tips and suggestions.

Get Your Company, Religious Organization, or Volunteer Group to create a team:

Are you looking for a way to get your company or volunteer group involved in a great community event? Look no further! The AbilityFirst Stroll & Roll is a great family friendly event that had 50 corporate teams participate last year, raising more than $160,000 to support AbilityFirst. We provide great team building opportunities and a way for your members to get involved in a meaningful charity. To learn more about how your company or group can create a team, click here.

Become a Sponsor:

Our corporate sponsors know that not only does their philanthropic dollars go directly to support the programs and services we offer for children and adults with disabilities, but they also receive unique publicity and advertising opportunities. To learn more about how your company can support the event and what benefits you can expect, please look at our sponsorship packet.

There are dozens of volunteer opportunities for all ages at the AbilityFirst Stroll & Roll. We need individuals to assist with activities like check-in, passing out breakfast, cheering on the walkers at the finish line and much more.
